Strawberry sauce with a dash of chilli for grilled meat

Serves 2

  • 5–10 strawberries
  • 1–2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 small chilli pepper
  • 1 orange
Cut the strawberries in half and place them in a lightly oiled pan, add 1–2 tbsp brown sugar and a small shredded chilli pepper and let the strawberries soften. Squeeze in the juice of a medium orange and let the mixture boil until syrupy (for about 20 minutes over medium heat). Then pour the sauce over the meat and enjoy while warm.
