Grilled Camembert cheese
- 1 wheel of Camembert cheese
- Aluminium foil
- A handful of pecan nuts or walnuts
- 3–4 tbsp cane syrup
- A little branch of fresh thyme, if desired
- Thin slices of fruit bread for serving
Put the cheese on a piece of foil, make some incisions on the surface of the cheese with a knife, sprinkle the nuts and pour the syrup over the cheese. Press the foil carefully together over the cheese and place the cheese on a grill. Grill for about 10 minutes. At the same time, grill the slices of bread lightly on the grill. Take the cheese from the fire and serve with slices of bread that can be used to “dig” into the melted cheese.
