Breti Brie with gooseberries
- 1 small Breti soft white cheese
- 1 tbsp dark syrup
- 6 to 7 peppermint leaves
- A handful of gooseberries
- Ciabatta or your favourite crackers
Cut a suitable piece of heavy-duty foil, place the cheese in the middle, drizzle syrup on top, sprinkle on some peppermint leaves torn into pieces, and finally sprinkle the gooseberries over the cheese. Lift the corners of the foil to the centre and grill until the cheese starts to melt (the gooseberries should not become mushy). Eat with bread or crackers.
