Strawberry maki with shrimp and goat cheese filling

  • 100 g prepared sushi rice
  • 3–4 large strawberries
  • 30 g cleaned shrimp (especially shrimp in salted water)
  • 30 g goat cheese, a few leaves of rucola
  • 0.5 sheet of nori
Cover the sheet of nori completely with a thin layer of rice. Turn the rice-covered sheet upside down on a bamboo mat (with the rice side down). Place the goat cheese, rucola and shrimp on the nori sheet and roll it up tightly, using the mat. Cover the sushi roll evenly with thin strawberry slices and use the bamboo mat to press the strawberry slices to the roll. Cut the roll into pieces of desired size and serve.
