- 0.5 l strawberries
- 100 ml balsamic vinegar
- 200 ml dark muscovado
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
Combine strawberries with balsamic vinegar in a bowl. Let marinate for 15 to 30 minutes. Pour the sugar into a bowl and dredge each strawberry in sugar until it is well coated. Stick the strawberries on skewers and refrigerate for another 15 minutes (if you put them directly onto the grill, the sugar coating will melt immediately). Grill the skewers for a few minutes from both sides. Serve hot over vanilla ice cream.
