Strawberry and sour cream ice cream
Makes 1.2 litres
- 500 g fresh ripe strawberries
- 150 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vodka
- 250 g sour cream (20%)
- 2 dl whipping cream (35%)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Wash and drain the strawberries. Slice the strawberries and mix in a bowl with the sugar and vodka. Cover and set aside for about one hour (at room temperature), stirring from time to time to help release as much juice from the strawberries as possible. Purée the strawberries, sour cream and whipping cream in a blender until smooth. Stir in the lemon juice and refrigerate the mixture for at least one hour.
