French toast with cinnamon sugar, Greek yoghurt, honey and nectarine
Serves 2
- 2 slices of multigrain toast bread or some other bread of your choice
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp whipping cream
- 8 tbsp cinnamon sugar
- Butter and a drop of oil for frying
- Greek yoghurt, nectarines and honey for serving.
Heat some butter and oil in a frying pan. Whisk the egg in a bowl and add the whipping cream. Dip a slice of bread into the mixture and place it on a pan to fry. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar on the bread. Fry until golden on one side, then turn over and sprinkle sugar on the other side. When the other side is also golden, flip the slice over for a few times to caramelise the sugar. Serve with Greek yoghurt and a nectarine. Drizzle some honey over the whole dish.
